Sorry we haven't been doing much blogging recently. Its been pretty busy down at London Mini. Anyway here we are on a really sunny morning in London. Our day starts early where we do loads of Tweeting and Instagraming. Then we have to organise our driver delivery and collecting Mini's .We have our truck going up to Coventry this morning to pick up a rather special Automatic Mini with almost every possible extra. We also have a hectic day in store as we have quite a few appointment s to view our Mini's and also we mustn't forget to pop along to the bookies to make a bet,but have no idea who to bet on on top of all this we have a big rugby match on at Twickenham stadium so obviously the whole place is going to be very busy. Hopefully we will be able to keep you updated on all the action at London Mini a bit more often. So until next time. Enjoy the weekend.
We are always on the lookout for nice Mini's.So today is like most days when we have one of our buyers out and about looking for stock.Today he is heading to Wales wher
We have a new arrival that is going through our preparation department,so we thought we would share the process with you. So we will post some before and after pictures. Before we offer a car for sale the vehicle would have been Hpi'd to check no accident insurance claims,no outstanding finance and that the mileage has been verified.Once we have done this the Mini will be sent to the service department to rectify any known faults and check for any unknown ones. The Service department would also give the Mini a full health check from top to bottom.
From the service department the car would then go to the detailing department where they would give the car a complete valet which would include steam cleaning the carpets and engine. If the car has leather trim they would re-nourish the leather and any scuffs or scratched leather would be re treated. Then finally the body would have a full hand wax and polish. Then to finish of the process the car would be treated with sealing system which protects the paintwork and helps to maintain a "just waxed look" which we call Total Protection. At this point the Mini is ready for its photo shoot and up for sale. Just something we have started doing and forgot to mention. We have our buyers out everyday looking to buy the best Mini's we can,so obviously we come across quite a lot of Mini's that we don't buy. Most of the people we buy from are honest and upfront about any issues their Mini might have or our buyers might spot something that the owner hadn't noticed over the course of their ownership. However believe it or not some sellers are totally dishonest and don't have any intentions of telling prospective buyers the car has a fault. So we have started Tweeting dustbin of the day, where we tell everybody we can about Min's to avoid! So that got us thinking we could also Blog these warnings. Today dustbin of the day is:
No we're not talking about mini's being slow, just the fact when we have the school holidays half of London disappears! So obviously we're not selling so many and not buying too many either. We are however working on our new website were we will be offering fixed price service and repairs on your Mini. We are also playing with the idea of offering a collection service from our local train stations! (Richmond,Twickenham,St Margarets,Strawberry Hill) Not sure if that will prove popular or convenient? Please let us know if you think this sort of service would be of interest!
Thanks For watching! Regards Tim London Mini follow us on Twitter @LONDONMINI1 or click on the link. Thanks Ok we think we might have the hang of this blogging thing, just need to come up with some decent content! So we were thinking why don't we put it out there and see what sort of things people would like to read about! So here goes let us know what sort of things you would find interesting.
Thanks London Mini |
